The AVMatrix Mini SC1221 is a pocket-sized broadcast converter. It converts HDMI signals into 3G-SDI signals. At the same time, the SDI output is available twice. It is very convenient for users with full-size HDMI ports (not mini plugs).
So cheap, consumer and ProSumer cameras can be equipped with 2 x SDI output.

Which HDMI formats does the converter support?
The converter supports various HDMI formats from 480i to 1080p. These include 480i 60, 576i 50, 720p in various frame rates (24/25/30/50/59.94/60) and 1080i and 1080p in all common frame rates.
How many SDI outputs does the device have?
The device has 2 SDI video outputs, both of which output the same signal. This allows you to route the converted signal to two different devices at the same time.
Which SDI standards are supported?
The converter supports SD-SDI, HD-SDI and 3G-SDI and is compliant with the SMPTE 259M, SMPTE 292M and SMPTE 424M standards. Automatic SDI switching selects the appropriate format based on the input signal.
